How To Remove LightWrap
Want to change up the look of your tint this show season or turning in your lease? Removing LightWrap is simple, and when done correctly won't damage your vehicle's lights or chrome. The most important factor when removing LightWrap is the temperature. You want the film and lens to be at minimum warm to the touch, and adding heat with a hair dryer or heat gun is recommended. A lot of time on a warm sunny day direct sun light is all you need! How do you know the film is too cold? Easy! If it pops, tears, or is brittle then it is too cold. If any adhesive is left on the lens after removal you can get it off using alcohol and elbow grease or you can use Rapid Remover which is how we remove adhesive from any vinyl in our shop. It is simple and safe for automotive surfaces. Watch the video below to see just how easy it is!
