Vinyl Specs

- Premium quality extruded aliphatic polyurethane film. Developed for use in the automotive and other industries requiring a self adhesive material to reduce corrosion, stone chipping and scratching. Also suitable for anti-squeak applications.
- Very conformable and suitable for use on smooth and contoured surfaces. Suitable for use under or over painted surfaces.
- Produced with a high tack adhesive on either a kraft or polyester liner, this film offers a 6 - 8 year life.

  Luxe Auto Concepts recommends you always measure what you are wrapping before purchasing one of our wrap kits. Add a few inches on each side and then cut the material for the job. The more film you have to work with the easier the installation will be, and the more complex the shape the more extra material you should have to help spread out the tension.

About PPF

Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a 100% clear protective layer for many surfaces on your car. It is easy to install and even easier to remove. The film will keep your paint from getting chipped or scratched, keeping your vehicle looking brand new. It is a thermoplastic urethane, which means that the film can heal most scratches or dings with just a bit of heat, such as from direct sunlight or even a hair dryer. PPF is more affordable than a new paint job as well!

Installation Tips

Follow these tips by Justin Pate to achieve an excellent installation. Be sure to familiarize yourself with PPF before installing. It is trickier than a dry application vinyl.

3M recommends using a two-solution application method for optimal appearance and results.

Soap Solution – Fill a 16 oz. spray bottle with water and add .6ml (4 drops) of Johnson’s Baby Shampoo or Aveeno Baby Wash and Shampoo.
Alcohol Solution – Fill a 16 oz. spray bottle 75% full of water and add 25% Isopropyl Alcohol (70% rubbing alcohol).
